So this is a billboard in Denver outside of Mile High Stadium (insert joke here). Marijuana has been a banned substance in the NFL for some time now. First time offenders are usually fined, but repeated offenders often find themselves facing suspension. So it should come as no surprise that you won’t be seeing this billboard or hearing about it when the season kicks off tonight on national TV. My only question is why? The NFL promotes the fuck out of beer. They don’t penalize players for drinking beer. They encourage fans to. A lot of the time alcohol leads to violence and dangerous situations. Marijuana usually leads to Doritos and smiling and naps. Don’t really get why the NFL, along with the majority of the country, still has such a negative outlook on weed. It’s so much safer and healthier than a countless number of legal substances. Makes about as much sense as Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” music video. AKA zero sense. Figure it out guys.
